Provide support for logistics (PMS, EOSS, NMD (Navy Maintenance Database, One Touch) to assist the Program with logistics issue and fleet requests.


Develops initial provisioning documentation and updates to Navy configuration for Navy Allowance parts lists/Allowance equipment lists to provide supply support for US Navy HM&E systems and equipment.


Provides support for logistics (PMS, EOSS, NMD (Navy Maintenance Database, One Touch) to assist the Program with logistics issue and fleet requests.


Follows established logistics plans for the provisioning of technical documentation.


Relay verbally and in writing the actions taken to accomplish the established plans.


Maintains schedules and timelines as required by customer and ship delivery schedule.


Maintains current knowledge of relevant ship board HM&E equipment.


Will and track Engineering Change Proposals within the Program. .


Position will be Part time and located in Philly Navy Yard working for GDIT.


2-5 years of related experience in logistics, traffic and/or supply chain management.



  1. Basic knowledge of the principles, methods, processes, and applicable regulations involved in supporting logistics operations.
  2. Should have a Mechanical background.
  3. Should know how to read and follow drawings and be familiar with the associated drawing’s parts list/list of material (LOM)
  4. Must be a good communicator and eager to learn.
  5. Should have good computer skills. Familiar with MS Outlook, Word and Excel
  6. Should have good computer skills with MS Outlook, Word and Excel.
  7. Familiarization/experience utilizing any of the following navy logistics web application/databases such as ICAPS, CDMD-OA, FEDLOG and HAYSTACKS is a Plus.
  8. Must have or be qualified to obtain a US government Security Clearance.

Bachelor’s Degree in a related technical or military discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work/military experience. Graduate of a trade or technical school is acceptable.
