Description

KBR is engaged in the integration, test and evaluation, installation, maintenance, configuration, and management of Area Control Systems (ACS) equipment for our U.S. Navy client located in St. Inigoes, Maryland. KBR is seeking a Systems Security Analyst to manage the accreditation process for ACS systems and labs, ensuring that the operational security posture is maintained for these systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Information Systems Security, Computer Science or a related IA discipline and a minimum of three total years of experience, with two years of experience in U.S. Navy or U.S. Marine Corps IA processes. Security CISSP, CASP, or other security certifications are desirable.

The ideal candidate is technically proficient, organized and detailed-oriented with strong interpersonal skills.The position requires the candidate to work both independently and collaboratively with co-workers and customers. The following skills and abilities are required:

  • Up-to-date on Department of Defense (DOD), U.S. Navy, and U.S. Marine Corps information assurance (IA) processes, policies, and standards, including RMF.
  • Ability to ensure that operational ACS systems are conformant to DOD IA policies.
  • Ability to create IA documentation packages necessary for the accreditation of ACS systems and labs.
  • Good writing and communications skills, and ability to work within a team.
  • Familiarity with accreditation tools used to submit and maintain U.S. Navy and U.S. Marine Corps system accreditation packages.
  • Proven ability to deliver on time.
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly.
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments/projects concurrently

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

This position requires US Citizenship and an ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.
