Responsibilities
• Provide Penetration Cybersecurity support for testing and evaluation of the Department of the Navy’s Commander, Operational Test and Evaluation Force
• Capable of conducting penetration tests on applications, systems, and networks utilizing proven/formal processes and industry standards
• Participate in development and documentation of new tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) for System Under Test (SUT) and System of Systems (SOS) analysis and testing
• Conduct Red Team planning and analysis of cybersecurity, Cybersecurity pre-execution site surveys, architecture (SUT or SOS) review, and SUT document review
• Ability to manually examine system and network configurations, system logs, and devices
• Capable of managing multiple penetration test engagements from cradle to grave
• Participate in development of test plans, execution of test events, and reporting
• Observe, collect, and analyze Cybersecurity data document tests and test results
• Ability to clearly articulate both written and orally
• Travel 20-25%
• Ability to work in tight/small spaces, climb ladders, and lift up to 25 lbs
Education/Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or related fields or relevant years of experience
3-6 years penetration testing experience
At least 1 years in a DoD/Navy Environment
DoDD 8570 IAT Level II Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certification
At least one of the following: GPEN, OSCP, OSCE or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
Proficient in at least one Operating System to include: Windows, Linux and Unix variants, embedded and Real-Time Operating Systems
Proficient in at least one of the following scripting languages: PowerShell, Bash, Python, Ruby
Proficient in multiple offensive tools/technologies to include: Metasploit, Cobalt Strike, Core Impact, Burp Suite, SDR, Wireless, Intercepting Proxies, etc.
Secret Clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI Clearance
