The Defense Spectrum Organization’s (DSO) Joint Ordnance Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) Engineering Program provides a broad range of engineering, acquisition, and management functions including policy development, acquisition support, operational support, test and evaluation, and military standards development for joint doctrine, DoD policy and procedures for Hazards of Electromagnetic Radiation to Ordnance (HERO), and the development and maintenance of the JSC Ordnance E3 Risk Assessment Database (JOERAD) Online capability.
AECOM is seeking an Engineer to prepare a roadmap for deployment, maintenance, and upgrade of the online JOERAD application integrated with the Joint Spectrum Data Repository (JSDR). The Engineer will define the data exchange formats for ordnance data, force element emitter and ordnance loadouts. The Engineer modify the software as needed to operate compatibly with the appropriate processing capabilities, in the appropriate operating system, and be thread safe which will permit its use in multi-threaded and server environments. The Engineer will maintain and update the Joint Ordnance Data Repository and the JOERAD Online Impact Assessment capability as well as assist in the establishment of a Configuration Control Board (CCB) and participate in the CCB to control changes to the software.
BS +10 years of experience. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
Programming in JAVA, T-SQL, PL/SQL, C, C++, VHSIC/VHDL, and others
