Job Summary

Shimmick Construction, an AECOM Company is actively seeking a Contracts Manager for immediate employment in Mill Valley, CA. This challenging position will provide an excellent growth opportunity while improving the infrastructure of the SF Bay Area.

Responsibilities:

  • Administration of prime contract and managing the change process

  • Coordinating with field engineers in regards to contractual matters and providing timely notice on contractual matters

  • Support the legal team on disputes with owner, subcontractor, third party

  • Support Risk Mitigation and Coordinate Insurance Issues - General Liability, Builder's Risk

  • Pricing of change orders by coordinating with other project team members or self-estimating work

Minimum Requirements

  • BA/BS + 10 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

  • Strong communication skills required

  • Experience in Public Works Construction in California is required

  • 10+ years contract experience is required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Structural steel experience a plus
