The alternate KOAM / COMSEC Manager role will perform the day to day functions of operating a busy COMSEC account with an emphasis on Advanced Extreme High Frequency (AEHF) COMSEC operations. The alternate KOAM / COMSEC Manager duties include but are not limited to, safeguarding, accounting for and processing of COMSEC material in strict conformance with NSA CSS Policy Manual 3-16, Air Force Manual 17-1302-O, and their references. Initialization and endorsement of proprietary End Cryptographic Units (ECU).
The alternate KOAM / COMSEC Manager candidate must be able to both work cohesively within a team and independently in a fast-passed operational environment. The candidate should be knowledgeable of COMSEC equipment and concepts with the ability to adapt to new technologies, have good intrapersonal communication skills and have the technical ability to provide customer service to employees and customers in all areas.
This position requires an Active Secret Clearance (with acknowledgement that a Top Secret Clearance request will be require upon hire).
U.S. Citizenship Status is Required as this position will require the ability to Access US Only Data Systems.
4+ years related Industrial Security and/or COMSEC experience

Position requires knowledge of the role that communications security plays within a business. The Candidate must be willing and able to complete National Security Agency (NSA) COMSEC Custodian training within six months of hire and travel for two or three weeks of KMI training when available.
The position requires a detail-oriented self-starter capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
Candidate will have strong verbal and written communications skills and be able to interface with all levels of management as well as interacting with government customers to include DoD/NSA auditors, U.S. military customers, government civilians, and non-Raytheon contractors.
Candidate must be able to research and interpret government directives and regulations and implement local practices in keeping with same.
Ability to lift 28 lbs. regularly for stocking, picking, shipping, etc.
Formal KMI training
Experience with the handling of fill devices and performing software updates
Experience with Key Management Infrastructure (KMI)
Familiar with operating Secure Voice Products and performing software updates
Ability to troubleshoot COMSEC equipment and processes
Experience with the ordering COMSEC Material and Key Management Planning.
