Job Description:
The Space and Airborne Systems (SAS) division of Raytheon is seeking a Systems Engineer with experience in system integration and project management. The qualified individual will be a member of a production team responsible for delivering a system of systems to the customer.

  • Assist in the management of system integration labs to allow test execution that ensure the system meets specifications

  • Coordinate the use of labs, schedule maintenance, aid lab users with lab specific issues and ensure compliance with company standards for FOD, tool control and foreign object elimination

  • Responsible for presenting the lab for quarterly QA audits as well as providing a suitable environment for VIP tours and demonstrations

  • Assist in the logistics management of facilities projects that provide the required environment to test and evaluate system performance against given requirements

  • Communicate daily with the test team as well as other engineers associated with sustainment and production tests to ensure contractual obligations are met.

Required Skills:

  • Minimum of 6 years of Engineering experience to include system integration and troubleshooting

  • Ability to analyze system problems and communicate issues to the engineering team

  • Experience in operations involving testing systems in a flight environment

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Ability to test, analyze and troubleshoot power systems

  • Willingness to work both 1st and 2nd shift

  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Top Secret Clearance as of day one of employment

  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems

Desired Skills:

  • Knowledge of radar systems operation and test equipment and associated RF test measurement devices and test execution

  • Experience with electrical power used for 60 and 400 Hz power systems

  • Experience/Knowledge with general laboratory test setup and Special Test Equipment (Signal Generators, Oscilloscope, Network Analyzer, Spectrum Analyzer, etc.)

Required Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline (preferably Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering or Physics)
