Summary Position Description:
Electrician in charge of crew to perform electrical
work in the service and construction industries.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities: Electrical skills to include:
1. Have a Knowledge and experience of electrical trade based on your school or
2. prior years of experience.
3. Maintain Safety and PPE requirements for Project.
4. Coordinate Electrical work with Site Superintendent.
5. Develops and integrates project schedule effectively with other trades
6. Facilitate effective communication between field operations and project
7. management.
8. Work to establish, adjust, and maintain work sequences to meet the
9. construction budget and schedule for a given project.
10. Organize and coordinate all of the project material and equipment ahead of the
11. scheduled task.
12. Ability to determine and order Material for project
13. Attend Meeting as required (GEI Forman mtg, Safety Meeting, Weekly Job
14. Meeting, Etc..)
15. Ability to Manage Crew of Journeymen & helper assigned to the project.
16. Ability to Read and Interpret Blueprint for electrical installation (symbols and
17. wire nomenclature).
18. Have experience with tools (see the enclosed list) and will need to purchase
19. others (can be purchased independently or through the company).
20. Able to use Basic electrical tools (Wire cutters, Wire strippers, Side cutters, Roto
21. split, screwdrivers, Cordless drill, Etc.)
22. Able to use Power tools in Safe and correct manner ( Hammer Drill, PVC bender,
23. Pullers, Etc.)
24. Ability to determine and order Material for the project.
25. Assign and coordinate Men to Layout Work for Area in project .

26. Conduit Bending, Cable Pulling.
27. Be able to run wire and tie off correctly.
28. Install switches, receptacles, and some light fixtures.
29. Install of Distribution equipment and Conduit.
30. Understand the basics of troubleshooting your own work.
31. Complete work that is correct and looks good.
32. Training of Apprentice / Helpers in tasks as needed.
33. Conducts periodic job site safety evaluations and oversees job site hazard
34. analysis as needed.
35. Able to Handle large jobs & crews.
36. Understanding of installation of low voltage systems. (Fire Alarm,
37. communication)
38. Mastery of National Electric Code.
39. Other duties as assigned.

53. Education and Experience:
54. High school graduate or equivalent GED Program.
55. Technical or trade school experience in electrical occupations.
56. Local Licenses & Certification in electrical work ( State License, Journeyman
Card, etc.)

Work Location(s):
Various sites in the Lehigh Valley and Suburban Philadelphia area. Locations are within a
1-hour radius of East Greenville, PA. In addition, candidates may be asked on occasion
to travel outside our immediate area for selected projects with some of our regional and
national clients.

Work Environment/Job Conditions:
This position is hourly (5 days, 40 hours a week). Candidates must be available when
requested to work overtime hours before or after a regular day shift and weekend.
This is a service and construction position. Candidates must understand these conditions
for employment:
1. Be eighteen (18) years of age or older.

2. Have a valid PA Driver����������������??����������������?�������������������������������¢??s License and one (1) other form of ID for filling out the I-
3. 9 form.

4. Can pass a doctor����������������??����������������?�������������������������������¢??s physical.
5. Pass a drug screening test.
6. Process reliable transportation to and from work and to client locations.
7. Be able to do lifting for electrical materials & tools.
8. Navigate on ����������������??����������������?�������������������������������¢??A����������������??����������������?�������������������������������¢?? frame and extension ladders for roof and ceiling work.
9. Be able to do repetitive motions of the hands and wrists (turning screwdrivers).
10. Experience with driving commercial vehicles and equipment is a plus.
11. Having a medical DOT or CDL ����������������??����������������?�������������������������������¢??B����������������??����������������?�������������������������������¢?? certification is not necessary but is helpful.
12. Have a bank account (set up for weekly direct deposit of your paycheck).
