Job Description: The USG has a requirement for one (1) Admin and Property Lead to assist the Head of Training in the administrative and logistical requirements of the AMDC contract. The Admin and Property Lead will also assist the Data Base Manager to maintain training records and facilitate effective student registration and enrollment for the AAF Fixed Wing (FW) and Rotary Wing (RW) maintenance training program. The candidate will be responsible the integrity, accuracy and security of contract administrative requirements. The candidate will be responsible to maintain up-to-date course schedules, catalogs, test results, and training certifications. The candidate will work closely with the Operations Site Lead to assist in information requirements for monitoring training progress and for interventions and problem solving along with providing administrative and logistical support as required.

Work Location: Kabul Air Wing, Harmid Karzai International Airport, Afghanistan or other location in Afghanistan as required.

Required Hours:Work may include nights, holidays, and weekends on short notice. Standard will be to conduct training six (6) days per week for up to ten (10) hours per day while at OCONUS work site(s) and a standard 40 hour work week while in CONUS.


  • Submit a bi-weekly training status report and weekly training summary to the Operations Site Lead
  • Maintain digital and hard copy of all student training records, certifications, course evaluations, and course completion awards
  • Ensure integrity of data for inspections by government representatives from various agencies
  • Adhere to all scheduled timelines, milestones, delivery schedules and administrative requirements.
  • Ensure timely problem identification and development of corrective action plans impacting the contract.
  • Maintains property accountability records and determines condition and arranges disposal of surplus or obsolete material or equipment.
  • Responsible for planning, coordinating and managing the inventory schedules for all property and materiel
  • Responsible for initial and replacement material/equipment procurement through established systems, ensuring accurate procurement efforts are in synch with the property locations and storerooms and proper identification of property classification.
  • Performs planning, scheduling, and coordination for the movement of materials and equipment to support logistic needs within Maximo and through other transportation means.

Required Qualifications:
  • Four (4) years of experience in a military or civilian training environment.
  • Strong analytical, writing skills
  • Strong MS Office Skills
  • Experience/sensitivity with diverse cultures
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Experience as a Raytheon MPM or LAM OR previous military logistics experience
  • Experience preparing written correspondence and information products for staff.
  • Excellent organizational and management skills.
  • Excellent problem solving skills and ability to timely implement new solutions.
  • Valid US Passport with at least 1 year validity
  • Must be able to obtain an Afghan visa
  • Must possess a current DoD Secret Security Clearance

Desired Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in administration and logistics management
  • Previous experience in Iraq or Afghanistan
  • The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of USAF Squadron or US Army aviation maintenance operations

Required Education:
  • Bachelor's degree from accredited school & four (4) years of related experience, OR two (2) years related experience with Master's degree. Eight (8) years of additional equivalent work experience (12 total years) may be accepted in lieu of BA/BS education requirement.

Physical Requirements/Working Environment
  • Include but are not limited to the wear of body armor and helmet Personal Protective Gear, unassisted lifting and carrying of duffle bags not exceed the weight of 70 lbs per piece, and the unassisted movement over uneven terrain.
  • Must be willing to work and live in Afghanistan with an understanding that there could be further assignments to any location in Afghanistan based upon the needs of the U.S. Government, to include hostile and austere areas.
  • Must be able to attend and pass USG deployment requirements at CONUS Replacement Center (CRC), Fort Bliss, Texas or equivalent location.
  • Must meet the medical requirements for the position being offered as determined by a pre-employment medical screening and in accordance with published CRC and USCENTCOM medical deployment standards.
  • Must be able to walk or stand on level and/or inclined surfaces up to eight (8) hours per day and sit for up to three (3) hours per day.
  • Must be able to routinely climb / descend stairs.
  • Must be able to routinely grasp or handle objects, use finger dexterity, bend elbows / knees, and reach above / below shoulders.
  • Must be able to read and interpret newspaper and typewritten print.
  • Must be able to communicate by voice and detect sound by ear.
  • Employee will be required to work and live in a potentially hostile environment, at remote locations, and under austere conditions.
  • May be required to respond to a wide variety of operational circumstances, under extreme weather conditions, within a hostile environment.
  • May be exposed to extreme noise from aircraft, hostile fire, and other acts of aggression associated with this region.
  • Contractor personnel shall comply with all theater command policies, regulations, and General Orders. All tours are unaccompanied
