SoBran, Inc. is currently searching for a Bioscience Sales Manager. This role will be responsible for generating sales and building market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing sales opportunities and business relationships. Will use appropriate reporting tools and achieve weekly, monthly and annual training and sales targets.

Responsibilities:

Manage territory to meet/exceed business goals and objectives in terms of gross sales, margins and new customer acquisition.
Identify commercial opportunities in the form of new customers and/or new products, develop strong relationship at target accounts, provide application knowledge, industry expertise, and manages sales activities according to a solutions-selling, disciplined process.
Collaborate with marketing to assist in the development of advertising and promotional programs, telemarketing plans and tradeshow participation necessary to achieve CRO sales objectives.
Collect, analyze and transmit information regarding market evolution, competitors and technology trends
Manage difficult client and/or financial situations
Strong working relationship with internal SoBran management and leadership
Demonstrated ability to acquire, grow and close new and existing client base

Requirements:

3-5 years of proven business development experience selling services directly to the pharmaceutical and biotech section with direct interaction with mid-level and executive level decision makers
Clear understanding of biological therapeutics including both pre-clinical and clinical drug development.
Needs to demonstrate scientific knowledge and gravitas to deliver credible scientific discussions and presentations.
Experience of scouting for innovative drug development partnerships including both academic and commercial.
A well-established commercial/academic network is strongly preferred along with a progressive knowledge of innovative alliance structures, industry trends, and competitive issues related to pharmaceutical business development
Must demonstrate scientific knowledge and gravitas to hold/drive meaningful scientific discussions with industrial and academic experts and key opinion leaders.
A proven and established business development network within the industry is strongly preferred along with a progressive knowledge of innovative alliance structures, industry trends, and competitive issues related to pharmaceutical BD.
Results-oriented, creative, self-starter with the ability to deliver high-quality deliverables on time that are appropriate for review by key stakeholders.
Excellent interpersonal skills including a demonstrated ability to be effective in an everchanging environment
