Raytheon Intelligence, Information and Services (IIS) is seeking a talented college graduate to integrate into our team of Field Engineers. The chosen candidate will help support the Patriot Missile System and ideally be available to start immediately. The available work locations for this position are Ft. Sill, Oklahoma, Ft. Bragg, North Carolina or Ft. Hood, Texas.

Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Perform diagnosis and repair of all Patriot Missile System Major End Items (MEI)
  • Provide 24 hour on call technical assistance in field sites and garrison as required
  • Use of the Maintenance Control System (MCS) and Radar Action Cycler (RAC)
  • Analysis of diagnostic switch 9 and 8 data
  • System Exerciser and using a wide range of test equipment to include oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and power meters
Security Clearance:
  • Qualified applicants will be subject to a security investigation and must meet the requirements to obtain and maintain a Secret government security clearance. Except in rare circumstances, only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Required Skills:
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
  • This position requires travel to different CONUS/OCONUS locations and candidate must be willing to accept assignments away from their primary work location
  • The selected candidate must be physically capable of performing all aspects of the position

Desired Skills:
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Highly desired for candidates to have depot or intermediate level field maintenance experience
  • Highly desired for candidates to have experience with use of automatic and semi-automatic program maintenance diagnostics, unit self-tests and Built-In Test Equipment (BITE) as well as industry standard commercial off the shelf external test equipment
  • Experience with military training in Patriot Configuration III Air Defense systems
  • Knowledge in the operation and maintenance of Remote Launch Communication Upgrade (RLCEU), Fiber Optic/ RF cable troubleshooting and repair
  • Understanding and knowledge of military communications systems and encryption devices
  • Completion of the Patriot System Intermediate Maintenance Mechanic Course for MOS 27X/34S/94S/916A/918D conducted under the auspices of the U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) or an equivalent course of instruction conducted by the Patriot Missile System Contractor

Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Applied Science or a closely related field obtained within the past 18 months or by Fall 2019. A GPA of 3.0 + is strongly desired. Please include your GPA and transcript with your resume.
