Weapon System Integration Engineer

Develop weapon systems for the Warfighter!


Join a diverse team of talented and inspired engineers and analysts to integrate fielded and emerging Air and Missile Defense weapon systems in Huntsville, Alabama. The Weapon System Integration Engineer provides systems engineering and integration expertise for launch systems and guided missile systems development, integration, prototype production, and test. Will make recommendations on system development, improvements, optimization, and support efforts. Coordinates development of Government customer Interface Specifications, Interface Control Documents and other system design documents. Performs risk assessments and analyzes integrated master schedules. The position requires well-rounded and in-depth technical knowledge. Candidates should have experience with systems engineering, the ISO9001 quality system, and Government customer interactions. Some travel for meetings and test events will be required.

Relocation: Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or able to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.



  • Possess a Bachelor's of Science in a technical discipline or equivalent experience
  • 5 years of experience with design, development, integration, and test of launch systems and/or guided missile at the component through system level
  • Proven experience in the generation and delivery of Interface Control Documents
  • The successful candidate must possess an understanding of model-based requirements and design, and be able to develop subsystem and software requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in resolving programmatic issues arising during scheduling and integration activities
  • Demonstrated willingness to work in a team environment and the ability to work independently while prioritizing and supporting multiple tasks
  • Candidate must be a US Citizen
  • Possess (and be able to maintain) a Secret Clearance


  • Operational, programmatic, or design experience with Patriot, THAAD, and/or IBCS Missile Defense weapon systems
  • Patriot, THAAD, and/or IBCS Missile Defense system Technical leadership and/or Program Management experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong social skills, and ability to build consensus among peers while building solid relationships with team members, leadership, and customers
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications with strong presentation skills and capable of briefing audiences large or small of varying technical knowledge
  • Enjoy working in a dynamic, responsive, and collaborative environment, and dedicated to the success of our Government customers
