Manages and is responsible for the successful completion of all tasks in assigned program area.
Provides leadership for programs and projects as assigned by the Program Director. This includes detailed attention to tracking and managing resources, and providing project management reports.
Ensures that program meets and exceeds expectations by overseeing program activities, timeliness, and internal quality control standards.
Identifies barriers and risk factors that may inhibit or impede the project and defines mitigation strategies.
Serves as primary liaison between the customer, other vendors, project team and company. Facilitates activities between the company, customers and partners, providing continual status reports and resolving issues in a timely manner.
Manages customer expectations with regard to the program and related activities. Explore methods for improvement, and make recommendations to company management and customers for improving and/or enhancing the program. Influences outcomes and directions through use of extensive knowledge, best practices, and strong relationships.
5+ years related experience and/or training.
Leadership and motivational skills.
Proven experience in managing multiple large projects/programs.
Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
Ability to coordinate team members and facilitate work.
Proven ability to use resources effectively and efficiently.
Ability to operate with general direction/minimal supervision.
Ability to think strategically and to mold IT projects to meet business requirements.
Experience in managing and leading health IT projects/programs.
Analytical ability and strong problem solving skills.
Ability to provide exceptional service to all stakeholders.

BA/BS or 5-8 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. CMS contract management desired.
