STIA 4 (TSA Job Title) Requisition

 Location: 100% remote with possible domestic travel (must be within driving distance to an airport)

Security Training and Integration Analysts collaborate with expert instructional designers, graphic artists and curriculum developers to create high-quality products for its customers’ training curricula.

 

GDIT seeks an experienced Security Training & Integration Analyst to join its team.

 

The selected candidate will:

  • Exhibit an understanding of the training development process.
  • Provide input that demonstrates subject matter expertise of customer-specific projects and advise on the best strategies and instructional approaches to a team of instructional designers.
  • Establish and review course content and objectives.
  • Review and provide feedback on training materials.
  • Update course documentation on a regular basis to ensure timeliness and relevance.
  • Support research, development, operations and process improvement for assigned deliverables.
  • Apply unique skills; knowledge; insight and capability to solve complex problems.
  • Take direction from Project Managers as required.
  • Maintain high levels of self-motivation; demonstrate reliability at a consistent level of job performance, and work within established project budgets and schedules.
  • Exhibit versatile interpersonal and communication skills that enable successful internal and external interactions in a variety of modes including face-to-face meetings, phone calls, phone conferences, virtual meetings and written communication.
  • Participate in special projects as required.

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of directly related experience in the development and delivery of TSA technical training programs.
  • 8+ years of experience providing on-site TSA training and instructor support at both airports nationwide and to TSA BTP at the academy.

Requirements:

  • Telecommute during core business hours in the Eastern Standard Time zone as required by the customer and/or management.
  • Provide a suitable home office with doors, reliable premium high-speed internet connectivity, printer, scanner, reliable phone connectivity.
  • Travel up to 50% domestic travel may be required.
  • Candidate must successfully complete the application process as outlined by DHS Office of Personnel Security (PERSEC), achieve TSA suitability prior to employment and maintain a favorable customer suitability status as part of a condition of continued employment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Expertise in TSA Checkpoint Screening Training including all associated policies and procedures.
  • Expertise in TSA Checked Baggage Screening Training including all associated policies and procedures.
  • Expertise in training Technology and Equipment as well as technology/equipment training including all associated policies; procedures; and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Training.
  • Collaborative and tactical communications, critical thinking skills, conflict resolution skills, leadership skills, team-building skills.
  • Prior approved TSA suitability screening.

Education:
