GDIT is seeking an Systems Analyst to perform functional analysis of the system as well as automated/manual testing as required. The BA/Tester is also responsible for reviewing the business requirements, system requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria, writing test cases, developing test data and automated test scripts, as well as performing test execution.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, with other duties as assigned:
Create, review and analyze user stories, acceptance criteria, business requirements, system requirements and technical specifications.
Develop test scenarios, document test cases, create test data/files, compile test summary documentation and provide work estimation for BA/Testing tasks.
Write and update project documentation including user stories, acceptance criteria, test plans, test cases, testing procedures, requirement traceability matrices, and training materials as needed.
Perform detailed analysis of test results and present to internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to review, test and evaluate the work of others by participating in Peer Reviews.
Makes recommendations to improve overall quality.
Effectively communicates with management and team leads on status and critical issues.
Participate in problem tracking management to bring defects to resolution.
Ensure work products, documents and all requirements and testing deliverables comply with established CMMI quality standards as well as 508 standards.
Performs CMMI-based processes to improve/monitor system quality and performance.
Investigates and resolves operational problems in conjunction with other engineering and technical personnel.
Participates in special projects as required.
2-5 years of related experience in definition, documentation, analysis, performance and interpretation of developmental tests for new and/or modified products or product components.
Solid Back-end testing experience in writing and executing SQL Queries.
Solid knowledge of various software testing methods (i.e. Black Box, White Box, etc.).
Solid knowledge and experience with automated testing.
Experience with various software testing methodologies.
Experience with defect tracking and change management systems.
Experience working in an agile / scrum environment.
Strong customer and business focus.
Ability to handle multiple priorities, and assess and adjust quickly to changing priorities.

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
