Raytheon SAS is seeking a Subcontract Specialist to work within the Electronic Warfare Systems (EWS) Subcontracts group.

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Working closely with engineering to support and execute quick turn purchase orders supporting rapid turn development, IRAD and EMD efforts
  • Working as a liaison between engineering and suppliers to understand their capabilities and manage technical and/or design issues to closure
  • Build and manage strong supplier relationships
  • Work with suppliers to expedite and obtain updates to delivery dates and other commitments; and update SAP business systems (PRISM) accordingly to support MRP requirements
  • Coordinating MRP alignment with EWS Non Supporting Metrics
  • Tracking and expediting the Repair/Return purchase order purchase order process
  • RMAs, QNs
  • Issue/track repair POs
  • Managing and obtaining delinquent supplier purchase order acknowledgements
  • Setup of new suppliers in ESDM and follow up with suppliers on the completion of required annual certifications
  • Analyzing metric data to drive improvement and to standardize reporting structure in support of weekly/monthly reporting requirements
Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years of Supply Chain experience
  • Working knowledge of and experience in basic purchasing processes
  • Strong working knowledge with MRP systems/processes
  • Working knowledge of URDNs
  • Proficient in Return Material process (QNs)
  • Working knowledge of EXOSTAR
  • Knowledge of ESDM
  • Familiar with ESRT tool and Supplier Insight
  • U.S. Citizenship Status is Required as this position will require the ability to Access US Only Data Systems.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Working knowledge of PRISM and experience working in a SAP based environment
  • Interest and aptitude to learn and take on roles of increasing complexity and responsibility
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, process oriented, customer service environment
  • Ability to work well with others within a diverse team environment and across multiple disciplines
  • Effective verbal and written communication
  • Good organization and time management
