You will be responsible for Test Engineering Activities assigned to THAAD Ground Systems Production in Huntsville, Alabama.

Summary of Key Duties for this position:
• You will be responsible for developing test plans for qualification and acceptance testing at the sub-component and component level. This environmental testing will be based on applying MIL-STD-810 test methodology. The candidate should be familiar with MIL-STD-810 type testing. Test plans and procedures will be developed from the synthesis contractual needs and requirements.
• You will develop Statement of Works with test laboratories for the conduct of qualification testing, and will be responsible coordination with the test laboratories for the successful execution of testing activities.
• You will be responsible for performing analysis of test results and preparing comprehensive subsystem and/or system level evaluation reports which verify and validate system performance.
• You will also be supporting the software and hardware development of test support equipment.
• Additional duties will include: test planning and preparation; test procedure execution; coordination of system resources to support testing; and support to test development, integration, and anomaly resolution as required.
• You must have the ability to become a Certified Test Conductor.
• You must have experience with data acquisition using National Instruments LabVIEW. (GPIB, Ethernet, RS-422)
• Must have experience developing SW applications in LabVIEW

Basic Qualifications:
• Candidate must have a bachelor’s degree from an
accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent
experience/combined education
• Candidate must have 5 years of planning/testing of production and/or development hardware
• Active Security clearance
• Knowledge and proficiency in SW development and infrastructure
Desired Skills:
• Certified Test Conductor (CTC) or the ability to become one
• Familiarity with MIL-STD-810
• Familiar with VE-CAMS
• Familiar with GPEC
• Candidate must have ability to communicate effectively with leadership
• Candidate must have experience writing/updating test procedures
• At least 5 years experience with LabVIEW development
• SW architecture experience
