Job Summary

Shimmick Construction, an AECOM Company, is seeking a Project Manager for their Legacy Foundations group. This challenging position will provide an excellent growth opportunity while improving the infrastructure of Southern California.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to those listed below:

  • Responsible for managing the construction engineering functions on a construction project to ensure adherence to all engineering

  • construction plans and specifications.

  • Under direct supervision, performs routine duties requiring knowledge of basic engineering principles.

  • Limited exercise of judgment is required on details of work.

  • Performs specific and limited portions of broader assignments.

  • Spends large percentage of time performing estimating take-offs and performing walk-downs for quantity tracking purposes, reporting of installed quantities, performing field inspections to verify adherence to design.

Minimum Requirements

  • BA/BS + 2 YORE or AA/AS (US) + 4 YORE or Diploma/Certificate (Canada) + 4 YORE or HS/GED + 6 YORE
