AECOM's Design, Planning + Economics practice offers a holistic approach to guide responsible and productive use of the land. Our practice includes master planning, strategic planning and economic development and landscape architecture design. We integrate these areas of expertise on projects of all scales and contexts.
Under the direction of project manager and director, the urban planner/senior urban planner is responsible for accomplishing the assigned tasks in projects for masterplan development and documentation.
Performing research and analysis of urban planning and design related systems and strategies.
Preparing drawings, maps, illustrations, presentations and reports.
Developing planning studies and reports in support of new and updated plans, programs and regulations
Working within team structure and contributes to the urban planning and design process.
A degree in Urban Planning, Urban Studies, Urban Design or related field;
A minimum of 2 - 4 years’ postgraduate experience in the urban planning, urban design or related field; position level will be commensurate with candidate’s experience;
A proactive approach, good analytical and problem solving skills, the ability to work under pressure and to meet critical project deadlines;
Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills ;
Proficient in Chinese, fluent in English;
For Senior post, experience in the project management / team leadership of multi-disciplinary planning and urban design projects an advantage;
Proficient in AutoCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator, Mircosoft Office, Sketch up, and other relevant design/presentation softwares.
