Job Summary

Maintains technical and administrative controls for site operation, maintenance, and support in accordance with contract requirements and corporate/management supervisory practices. Responsible for quality of all contractor site functions to include operations, maintenance, corrosion control, logistics/supply support, technical library, facilities security, transportation, training, safety, communications, quality assurance, configuration management, facility services, and integration.

Essential Responsibilities:

Complies with contract requirements and takes action as necessary to correct deficiencies.

Prepares or approves required reports to ensure compliance with contract requirements of the sites.

Ensures O&M is performed IAW operations schedule, PM schedule, WIs, and manufacturers? manuals.

Provide technical guidance to lower-level technicians.

Provide contractor technical and administrative management including liaison with government personnel.

Ensures all personnel are assigned to tasks for which they are qualified.

Identifies training requirements and monitors training accomplishments.

Establishes and provides oversight of site security, facility services, major/emergency repairs, corrosion control, range scheduling, equipment status reporting, transportation and supply to ensure compliance with contract requirements.

Supports special tests, evaluations, equipment relocations and new equipment installations as required.

Coordinates integration efforts with associate contractors.

Ensures employee conduct is maintained in a proper and professional manner at all times and adhere to applicable government regulations and standards. Assists in resolving personnel problems and situations within site activities.

Provides Training assistance through on-the-job (OJT) training as required.

Supports deployments as required.

Supports engineering efforts as required.

Ensures all equipment changes are accurately documented in a Change Request in the CCMS and approved prior to performing work or ordering parts.

Performs all other position related duties as assigned or requested.


Minimum Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.

Formal academic/technical or military classroom education equivalent to Navy "C" School or vocational school with formal training in the field of electronic equipment maintenance and equipment manufacturer training.

3 years management or supervisory experience.

Five years technical and operational experience with complex electronic systems in four (4) or more of the following areas:

Radar and radar theory;

Digital/analog signal processing;

Antenna systems;

Electromechanical devices;

Communications (multiplexer equipment);

Digital/analog computer systems;

DC power supplies;

Test equipment;

Optical equipment;

RF signal processing;

Low voltage AC equipment;

Primary and secondary power equipment;

Auto-transfer (UPS) equipment;

Portable AC generators

Must maintain a current CPR/First Aid certification.

Possess a valid state issued driver’s license.

Must possess and maintain a Secret government security clearance.

Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:

Position involves routine travel (less than 25%). Perform duties at a variety of contract related facilities or locations including offices, mission control rooms, labs, and remote field sites. Duties involve no unusual hazards, occasional lifting to 20 pounds, constant sitting and use of a computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while writing, reviewing, and editing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, and constant mental alertness.
