Job Description:
Manage and perform complex cost proposal processes and develop deliverables to ensure timely delivery and compliance with company cost estimating system. Develop and prepare pricing schedules and cost volumes in response to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Quotes (RFQs), Requests for Information (RFIs), or Rough Orders of Magnitude (ROMs). Work with major stakeholders in development of cost/price proposal response, to include the capture and proposal teams, Program and Division Managers, and Senior Management.

Prepare accurate price estimates for various types of contracts, including CPFF, CPAF, FFP, T&M, IDIQ task orders, GSA schedules, OTAs and BOAs. Ensure compliance with government regulations, including Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA) and certified cost or pricing data (CCPD). Ensure compliance with company policies, cost estimating standards, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), and solicitation requirements.

Review Finance Teams’ proposals for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with Cost Estimating System. Serve as a key contributor to special projects and Finance team objectives.

Qualifications:

BS/BA with 2-4 years related experience (pricing, project control, or finance, preferably with Government contracting)

Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills

Ability to work flexible hours in a deadline-driven environment

Must have strong oral and written communication and analytical skills and be capable/comfortable presenting briefs to Senior Management.
