ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Project Analyst to join our team the Reston, VA area to provide unparalleled support to our customer and to begin an exciting and rewarding career within ManTech. The Project Coordinator will support multiple federal agencies through the Continuous Diagnostics & Mitigation (CDM) Program. The CDM Program is a high-profile, high-visibility, cybersecurity modernization and risk management program where you can contribute innovative solutions and consult with many different federal agencies to enhance their Information Assurance (IA) programs and continuous monitoring capabilities.

The Project Analyst is responsible for the collection from project resources, reporting and analysis to project stakeholders of project management data in support of CDM projects. The Project Analyst will work closely with architects, engineers, Customer Success Managers, schedulers, project coordinators, and project managers to support project management operations. 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Perform coordination activities to support schedule and project management operations
  • Capture and/or support the update of risks, actions and tasks, communicated through various mediums, as defined by the project
  • Create, manage and disseminate routine reporting documentation, to include weekly and monthly reports using defined project templates and in accordance with industry best practices. Support project managers in creating and presenting project performance reports.
  • Serve as point of contact responsible for communicating project status to all participants
  • Participate in client/stakeholder meetings to gather, analyze and communicate requirements/changes to business processes, policies, master schedule, etc.
  • Conduct risk/opportunity assessments and project budget reviews routinely.
  • Coordinate project management activities, resources, and information to ensure project objectives are aligned with project execution.
  • Create/manage project plans to define and assign tasks, establish deadlines, and control schedules. Monitor project progress, identify and communicate project anomalies.
  • Support budget preparation activities
  • Oversee project procurement management
  • Conduct QA to ensure project standards and requirements are met
  • Support personnel onboarding activities as needed

Position Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience with project management
  • Familiar with project management methodologies
  • Scrum certified or Scrum Master experience
  • Excellent data analysis and critical thinking skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with creating and analyzing project documentation, reports, and briefings
  • Highly skilled in Microsoft Excel; working knowledge of Microsoft Project
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks concurrently
  • Self-starter with a bias for action
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • BA or BS degree

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with MS Project Server
  • Experience working in an Agile environment with direct Scrum responsibility
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts and technologies
  • DHS experience
  • Familiarity with DHS Cybersecurity programs such as Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM)

    Security Requirements:

  • Ability to obtain and maintain DHS Public Trust clearance
