At Raytheon, our Global Trade Professionals, part of the Office of General Counsel, are the company experts in the compliant execution of international business in accordance with U.S. export and import laws and regulations. Export/Import (EX/IM) controls protect national security and are critical to our global success. Global Trade professionals enable Raytheon to make sound business decisions by providing governance and guidance, to all functions, relative to the mandatory requirements and company processes.
The Global Trade Leadership Development Program (GTLDP) Participants will be given challenging assignments that will develop functional skills. Participants may have the opportunity to travel throughout the country to attend training sessions that provide not only EX/IM specific training but also finance, process improvement, leadership, and business acumen. Participants will visit Raytheon Business Units during the program and will have exposure to Raytheon leadership across the company.
Raytheon’s Leadership Development Program (LDP) is a cross functional, fast-tracked leadership program focused on early career talent, with proven potential to be future leaders for Raytheon. The program incorporates three week-long, in-person, sessions held over two years.
The GTLDP is a two (2) year program, consisting of two (2) one (1) year rotations through two of the three (3) sections of Global Trade: Licensing, Compliance, and Trade Counsel. Each rotation will take place at a different Business Unit in our US locations.
Types of degrees recruited: Undergraduate (Bachelor) degree in fields such as (but not limited to): International Trade, International Business, Economics, Law, or International Studies. Copies of transcripts are required when applying to this position.
US Citizenship required: This position requires access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship.
Please note: The recruitment cycle for the GTLDP runs through the Fall of 2019. The next Cohort of LDPs will start June of 2020.

The Defense Industrial Security Clearance Office (DISCO), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. Security clearance factors include, but are not limited to, allegiance to the US, foreign influence, foreign preference, criminal conduct, security violations and drug involvement.
