Provide strategic guidance for export and import licensing and compliance for Raytheon IIS business on all export and import operations matters. Responsible for developing licensing strategy for major international pursuits. Also responsible for assuring operational compliance of all areas related to the export and import of technical data, services and hardware. Responsible for the preparation and management of licenses and agreements that are necessary to support the business. Regularly contributes to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards. Participates in developing and establishing business unit policies and procedures to manage associated risk areas. Is considered an expert in export / import operations associated to trade regulations (ITAR-International Traffic in Arms Regulations, EAR-Export Administration Regulations, OFAC-Office of Foreign Assets Control Regulations, CBP-Customs Regulations, FTSR-Foreign Trade Statistical Regulations), U.S Munitions import regulations Government agency jurisdictions (State, Commerce, Treasury, Homeland Security) and risk issues (classified and unclassified exports, foreign affiliates, multiple country/program defense/munitions-related exports, technology transfer and other related charges).
Position will be located in Dulles, VA. This position will require 5%-10% travel.
Bachelor's Degree required in applicable field or study or equivalent combination of education and experience ( Bachelor Degree = 8 years of additional applicable experience)
