The Deputy Program Manager (DPM) will support an IDIQ Program Management Office (PMO) in Raytheon’s IDIQ Service Center which has company-wide responsibility and purview. The PMO supports DLA-E, NETCENTS-2, TETRAS, FIA2T, TSA III and CNG OLS. The role of the DPM is to support the PMO’s overall growth and assist with day-to-day operations of the contract vehicles

The PMO develops and implements strategies to identify new business task order opportunities through the use of the IDIQ vehicles and disseminates these to appropriate Raytheon businesses. In addition the PMO ensures contract compliance through the development of detailed compliance processes, oversight of appropriate contract usage and training to the businesses.

The role of the Deputy Program Manager includes participating in key task order capture pursuits; updating IDIQ metrics and Pipelines; disseminating task order opportunities; updating marketing material; and assisting business performers with task order proposals and execution. Specific projects also include identifying and assisting with adding sole source products to the DLA-E IDIQ contract; preparation of contract vehicle CDRLS and streamlining and improving PMO processes.

The Deputy Program Manager will work with business performers across the entire company and will interact with end user customers and Raytheon United States Business Development (USBD) personnel.

Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Assist in daily operations of the PMO
  • Assist with the task order Pipeline
  • Provide training internally and externally on use of these contract vehicles to acquire Raytheon goods and services
  • Support all task order proposal efforts which may include product quotes, additions packages, competitive proposals, pricing analysis, market research, general proposal review, or front end business assistance and strategy development.
  • Escalating issues that may require management intervention or assistance
  • Responsible for identifying new business opportunities via customer portals/emails and communicating them across the enterprise

Requirements:

  • University Degree
  • Minimum 8 years of prior relevant experience
  • Working knowledge of compliant task order proposals
  • Understanding of government requirements
  • Fluent in IDIQ usage and capture strategy for use
  • Continuous improvement of operations
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced, dynamic environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills capable of creating professional relationships with a wide range of both internal and external customers
