Raytheon IIS is seeking a team player, who must be able to perform testing and fault isolation of the NATO Sea Sparrow ESSM Launching System and Tracker Illuminator System in a customer focused environment. Individuals will be accountable to commitments within the Raytheon Company and/or Sea Sparrow Program, should be able to identify process improvement opportunities, and expected to escalate issues to leadership for resolution (as required). Under limited supervision, the Technical Support Specialist performs a wide variety of technical tasks in support of NATO Sea Sparrow Weapon System including processes, engineering, quality control, calibration, production/test environment, and field operations. Tests, troubleshoots and repairs at the System level and Stand Alone of each individual cabinet within the NATO Sea Sparrow System. Also maintains and installs a wide variety of electronic, electromechanical, and mechanical equipment. Observes, analyzes and reports test data, and when appropriate make necessary repairs to equipment. Works on hydraulic, pneumatic, electromechanical, mechanical and related equipment by performing one or a combination of the following using drawings, wire lists and technical repair standards: disassemble/reassembles, removes, installs, repairs and modifies components of the NATO Sea Sparrow Missile System within the facility and on board ships. Troubleshoots and repairs sub-assemblies and system cabinets. Checks work for correctness. Performs other duties as required.
