Description:The job of a Proposal Manager for the USGBO Aftermarket consists of managing major proposal efforts from receipt of Request For Proposal (RFP) to Submittal of DFAR compliant proposals and following the submittal to award. Primary customer will be the United States Government which consist of Navy, Marines, Presidential, US Coast Guard, Army/Air Force.

The selected candidate will manage proposals above the Truth In Negotiations Act (TINA) threshold of $2M. In this position you will be required to collect the required inputs for a DFAR compliant proposals. These Inputs could come from Supply Management, Operations, Estimating, Contracts and Counsel, Engineering, USG Programs, pricing and others. You will be required to participate in status meetings with the external customers as well as various levels of management.

This unique position touches each part of the value stream from receipt of RFP to Award in the Aftermarket arena.

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, process improvements and other duties that need to be addressed in the department as required.
Basic Qualifications:
•Requires a demonstrated high level of interpersonal skills

• Excellent verbal and written communications skills; ability to compile inputs from multiple sources and convey a clear, consistent message

• Ability to lead and support multiple projects and manage cross-functional teams

• Strong analytical and project management skills

• Aptitude for working collaboratively and independently in a time-constrained environment

• Bachelors Degree (BA/BS)

•Microsoft Office Suite experience

•Up to 1 year experience in proposals and/or business devleopment.
Desired Skills:
SAP Experience preferred
