Description:Successful Candidate will serve as member of the F-35 Sustainment Supply Site Activation team for Depot Operations. In this capacity, this individual will be responsible for any required documents used by Depot Operations. This individual will be the point of contact (POC) for developing sustainment depot support requirements. This individual will be expected to identify process gaps and work with others as necessary to correct them. This individual may represent the department on various boards to review program process documentation and develop new program business rules. This individual must have a strong technical writing/editing background, be a self-starter, and have outstanding interpersonal skills. This individual will perform other related duties and assignments as required.
Experienced technical writer with document design experience.
Must have expert-level proficiency with Microsoft Word.
Must have some background documenting software.
Must be able to effectively communicate and interact with stakeholders at all levels to achieve program success. Ability to work in a dynamic environment and be a self- starter. Must be a US Citizen. Must be able to obtain special access program clearances.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 9 years of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Master’s degree. Considered an emerging authority.
-Experience in developing requirements for sustainment support.
-Demonstrated knowledge of logistics and wholesale aircraft supply support.
-Ability to manage internal systems (share drives and SharePoint) and department processes.
-Executive level communication and presentation skills.
-Working knowledge of Performance Based Logistics.
-Understanding of system design/requirements analysis.
-Candidate should have exceptional organizational, administrative, and planning skills with prior experience managing complex tasks and suppliers
-Experience working across functional teams
-Ability to work under pressure in a high paced environment
-Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills.
