Finance Manager for Raytheon Missile Systems (RMS) RPM, EOI and Louisville sites.Raytheon Precision Manufacturing (RPM) is a metal fabrication organization located in Dallas, TX. EO Innovations (EOI) is an optics engineering and manufacturing organization located in Richardson, TX. The Louisville (LSV) facility manufactures/remanufactures and provides complete lifecycle support for the Phalanx Close-In Weapon System. The RPM/EOI/LSV Finance Manager leads a team that is responsible for partnering with site leadership to achieve RPM, EOI and LSV financial performance goals. This position directly reports to the RMS Production Finance Manager and dotted-line to the RPM, EOI and LSV site directors. The RPM/EOI/LSV Finance Manager is a key member of the RPM, EOI and LSV senior leadership teams and is responsible for the Annual Operating Plan, financial planning, Estimates at Completion (EACs), compliance and Forward Pricing Rates (RPM and EOI sites). RPM has a unique Disclosure Statement. RPM and EOI each has a different rate set to manage. RPM and EOI sites serve RMS and SAS via IOTs, while LSV serves primarily the Phalanx program in Tucson. This unique portfolio provides the successful candidate an opportunity to operate in a very dynamic environment as they work with RMS and SAS Finance, RMS Accounting, and all other functional leadership.
This position manages and develops a staff of 7 analysts. This position is responsible for all financial reporting including major metrics - bookings, sales, operating profit, cash management, and working capital for RPM and EOI as they have their own P&L. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, coordination and preparation of manpower projections, IOT sales projections to programs, variance analysis, EACs, management of indirect budgets for each site, providing compliance and finance process guidance to the sites, and audit support/policy compliance. Strong communication skills are required to confidently interface and coordinate financial data and inputs between multiple stakeholders and at all levels (analyst to VP). Frequent travel to Louisville and Tucson will be required.


Minimum Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field and a minimum of 10 years of relevant business/finance related experience or a MS degree and 8 years of related experience
  • Prior experience leading and managing a finance staff. Leadership skills to motivate employees and drive change.
  • Experience comprehending, explaining and implementing complex policies and processes. This includes working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), disclosure statements, and Sarbanes Oxley.
  • Ability to serve as a strong strategic business partner with the ability to transform tactical information into executable business plans. Adept at analyzing data and information to help ensure Operations labor and indirect cost performance track to plan and to get problem areas identified and corrective action taken.
  • Possess strong problem solving skills with the ability to interpret, explain, and communicate information up and down the chain of command from business analysts to the VP level.
  • Proven ability to work in a highly matrixed organization while managing multiple priorities.
  • Have a detailed understanding of financial statements and ability to translate, present, and communicate complicated financial information into understandable and executable strategic plans.
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to obtain a Secret DoD security clearance.

Higly Desired Skills:

  • Advanced use of Microsoft Office Suite and SAP.
  • Oversight and negotiation of the Forward Pricing Rates
  • Experience with production cost, overhead management, and financial planning
