Job Description:
Seapower Finance is seeking a Program Cost Schedule & Control Analyst II to join our team in Tewksbury, Massachusetts. You will be a member of a team performing financial analysis / business management functions for the Dual Band Radar (DBR) program. Primary responsibilities will include cost and schedule control and analysis, Estimates at Complete (EAC) preparation, Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) implementation/analysis, and Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A). FP&A activities include assisting in preparation and analysis of the 5 Year Plan, Annual Operating Plan (AOP), and monthly/quarterly forecasts. Responsibilities also include coordination and collection of data, analysis of data for financial accuracy and trends, and preparation of internal financial reporting and analysis of backlog.
A strong background in EVMS should include exposure to EVMS implementation, variance analysis, data review, and reporting. The individual will develop program budgets, review actual costs, independently ensure company policies are followed and financial discipline is maintained, and frequently perform ad-hoc analysis. Frequent interaction with various functions and levels of the organization will be required, and therefore the successful candidate will possess strong presentation, communication and professional skills. This individual will require an ability to build a strong relationship of mutual respect and trust with finance, along with the cross-functional team.


Required Skills:

  • 2+ Years of Related Finance Experience
  • Knowledge of Earned Value Management Systems and EACs
  • Proactive, creative, and innovative in solving problems and issues
  • Strong analytical abilities
  • Excellent computer skills including a high level of proficiency with MS Office products (Excel, Word, and Powerpoint)
  • Basic understanding of sales, profit, booking, and cash flow forecasting
  • Ability to multi-task and work with a diverse group of people

  • Ability to quickly master Business Systems: SAP, Business Warehouse, and Raytheon proprietary tool sets.

Required Education (including Major):
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline
