The Raytheon Space and Airborne Systems (SAS) Integrated Communication Systems (ICS) Protected Communications Systems (PCS) Product Line is seeking a seasoned Senior Program Manager to lead the SBIRS Parabolic Dish Subsystem (PDSS) Program. The PCS product portfolio includes Advanced Extremely High Frequency (AEHF) terminals, Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3) systems, Protected Tactical SATCOM terminals, red switch networks, and related national protected communication systems. The PCS customer base includes the Air Force, Army, Navy, strategic allied countries (via FMS) and other US Prime contractors. This position is located in Albuquerque, NM.
The PDSS Program includes design, development, qualification, production and support of mobile satellite terminals used for line-of-sight communication with the Defense Support Program (DSP) and Space-Based Infrared System (SBIRS) satellites. The PDSS program manager has have full accountability and authority for execution of the program. They will be responsible for establishing program plans, actively manage risk mitigation strategies and capture program opportunities to meet/exceed their annual financial goals and obligations.
This person will review and approve bids, EACs and Gates and will work to establish the 5 year plan and execute the growth strategy. They will be the primary customer interface to ensure program execution is aligned with customer expectations and all contract obligations are met. The PM will partner with the customer to promote business growth, work with a multi-disciplined engineering team, functional organizations, subcontractors and strategic suppliers, providing clear direction aligned with Corporate, Mission Area and Product Line goals. They will lead by example and champion program management best practices, and will promote a One Raytheon perspective and work effectively across Raytheon businesses and functions.
