Description:In this position you will be part of a team tasked with the development and presentation of instructional materials for Aegis International Programs, specifically in Link Operations, Identification Systems, and Consoled Operations. The target audience is Junior and Senior Naval Officers assigned to various roles in their respective Aegis programs or Shipboard organizations. Additional responsibility include, but not limited to; development of instructor led training and course content, identifying student learning objectives; preparation of course syllabi, lesson plans, testing, development of student manuals and the evaluation and quality assurance of training materials and procedures. Analyzes and makes recommendations for revisions of curriculum based on system upgrades to software and equipment design. In addition, you will be responsible for the execution of training material in both the classroom and tactical lab. Execution could take the form of formal classroom instruction, instruction using classroom training tools, or ACTS scenarios in the tactical lab. The majority of the work will be conducted CONUS but there is an anticipation that some OCONUS travel will be required.
Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
Experience as an instructor or curriculum developer, including the ability to create and update lesson plans, trainee guides, and presentation materials
Instruct in both classroom and laboratory environments.
Aegis experience as Senior enlisted or Junior Officer with technical and employment knowledge of the Aegis weapon systems including, CIC operations, signals intelligence and Combat System Training philosophy as it applies to Aegis Programs in support of Combat System operations planning.
Be self-motivated, self-starter, reliable to work independently and as a team member and be willing to learn new equipment and systems to develop comprehensive training programs.
Familiar with operations on an Aegis Cruiser or Destroyer.

Identification Systems Experience
Aegis Console Operations Experience
Knowledge of MS Word, MS PowerPoint and MS Excel programs
