Description:The Software Project Engineering Specialist will work in a Lead Software Project Engineering role with the Software Project Manager for a given Customer Program. Responsibilities include normal Project Engineering tasking in addition to working Baseline level tasking at the macro level. This position will matrix lead the Baseline Project Engineers in their giving tasking for Config Mgmt., Build coordination and deliveries, SCRIBE/SIB or Governance Boards, CCBs, CPARS, CRBs, media development, maintain the applicable STARSYS/LMITS, ClearQuest or CQI Tool set databases, and oversee Export Releasability requirements. Project manage one or more Program Elements from system engineering design through software development through system engineering testing through customer delivery. Interact with Configuration Management, Quality Assurance, CSEDS, CPTS, System Engineering, Software Engineering and other internal / external customers. Work within the AEGIS CPS, the SIEP Standard, or the CQI standard. Work with System and Software Engineering teams. Manage FOSS, ATIC, and Export Control Requirements.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD SECRET Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship is a requirement for consideration
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related degree required. Experience with the generation and monitoring of schedules and build plans; Ability to learn metrics collection and analysis, Experience with Configuration Management Standards and Process with the ability to make process improvement recommendations; Ability to learn Configuration Management aspects of the AEGIS CPS, the SIEP Standard, or the CQI standard. Shall follow MST Common Process (PAL) as required for programs worked; Ability to develop, monitor and coordinate Build Plans; Support and participate in monthly, IPT, SW-IPT, Waterfall, PE meetings; Complete Electronic Data Transmission forms for computer program off-site deliveries; work with the FOSS team for approvals; Ability to learn to maintain fluent STARSYS and the AGILE LMITS as it relates to Project Engineering, Config Mgmt, Quality Assurance processing as well as impact to System Engineering and Software Engineering; experience with Systems Engineering and/or Software Engineering.

Excellent writing and communication skills; Exceptional Multi-Tasking, Self-Starter, Highly Motivated. Attention to detail. Project Management or leadership experience; willingness to work in a visible role with the External Customer; Presentation Experience; Systems Engineering or Software Engineering experience; Support delivery of tactical elements loads for testing at CPTS, CSEDs and end-user Customer sites.
