Lead Multi Discipline Design Team (MDDT) commissions, taking responsibility for their succesful delivery.
Provide oversight Line Management to Discipline Team Leaders, including Senior Mechanical Engineer, Senior Electrical Engineer, Senior Architectual Lead, Senior C+S Engineer
Ensure commissions are managed to the right quality standards and are completed efficiently and on time
General line management responsibilities are effectively discharged and the Design Team is led effectively
Strong relationships are developed with clients and members of the cross-functional team
Business development opportunities with existing and new clients are identified and acted upon, including cross-selling opportunities
Be the primary interface with AECOM clients (New and Existing) supported by the Director
Provide Leadership within the MDDT and provide leadership and mentoring to the team
Ensure all staff members reporting to you have current and relevant training
Manage the delivery of outputs, in accordance with agreed time-scales and quality standards
Co-ordination and sign off on all management information produced by MDDT prior to issue
To 'win' clients through strong business development skills
Management of tender documents, appraisals and negotiations working along with Department Head and Director
Defence, Public Authority, Health, Education, Commercial, Residential, Hotels and Leisure
Experience in a Client Management role - able to manage the account in terms of projects that are 'live', while seeking new opportunities which is required to work on the frameworks our team
Experience as a manager in a comparative business
You must be able to achieve UK government security clearance which is required to work on the frameworks our team is servicing.
Professionally Qualified - ideally Project Management / Construction / Engineering / Architectural Degree
Chartered Status with the RICS, CIOB, RIBA, ICE or other equivalent institution
Prince 2 or MSP experience
Good understanding of contracts
UK National - Security Clearance will be required if succesful
