Raytheon Company Space and Airborne Systems business unit is seeking a highly motivated recent or soon-to-be graduate interested in gaining firmware development and support experience in a dynamic and rewarding environment. The Space and Airborne Systems business unit is an industry leader of Electronic Warfare and Radio Communication products for defense applications. The position is located in Fort Wayne, IN.
The candidate will be assigned a senior-level FPGA design engineer as mentor. Tasking includes assistance on system level requirements, developing associated architectures, implementing VHDL design, performing VHDL simulation, synthesis, timing analysis, and testing of the FPGA in a laboratory setting. The candidate will work in the firmware engineering section with system, electrical, mechanical, and software engineers. This position may require occasional business related travel.
Required Education (including major): Must have a BS / BA with a major in Electrical Engineering, Technology, or Computer Engineering, or other related field by Summer 2020 or have graduated within 18 months prior to start date.146109
