Raytheon Starburst is seeking an Analyst that will be part of a team responsible for supporting a heterogeneous mix of computing hardware and software platforms, including servers, workstations, and numerous COTS software applications. Responsibilities could include either security analyst or network analyst activities. Windows desktop and server experience is required.

You will work shifts (85.4 hours every two weeks) and 9% of annual salary for the mid-shifts worked (equivalent to 50% of hours worked annually). Equal to about 10% of salary.

Customer funded retention bonus $7.5K per year.

Required Skills:

  • Degree or equivalent experience
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years of applicable experience
  • Active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI
  • Strong background in Security/Network Analysis using Windows operating systems environment
  • Demonstrated ability to research and create detailed computing system documentation and operational guides/procedures
  • Administration and authentication of domain services
  • Experience with troubleshooting information technology systems.
  • Detailed understanding and application of network security and/or concepts.
  • Must have or be able to attain and maintain a DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification.
  • Shift work required
Desired Skills:
  • Solid knowledge base of VMware
  • Understanding of Storage Area Networks (SAN) and Network Attached Storage (NAS)
  • Troubleshooting experience with Juniper switches and firewalls
  • Demonstrated experience implementing computer security
  • Ability to work with limited supervision and must be a self-starter with initiative
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with a diverse user community in quick-response situations
    • Security+ certification or the ability to obtain within six months.
    • Shift work required

Desired Skills:

  • Network+ certification

This position can either be a Technical Support Engineer II (G07) or a Technical Support Engineer (G06) depending on the candidates qualifications.
