Job Summary
Serves as lead engineer on mid- to large size building structural projects.
Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise
Preparation of study reports, technical notes and public consultation papers.
Preparation of tender documents (conditions of contract, specifications, method of measurements & bills of quantities) and tender reports.
Project management and contract administration for building engineering contracts.
Project management: responsible for financial management of the project, ensuring key deadlines are met and that the project stays on schedule and staff are working together effectively.Plays a key role in client management and client satisfaction.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 6-8 years experience in structural engineering design and project management experience in major building and infrastructure projects.
Professional Engineer registered with Singapore Professional Engineers Board is preferred.
Familiar with local code and authority submission procedure.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
?Team player and able to work independent with minimal supervision.
