Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Entry Level Architectural Designer for employment in the Kansas City, MO office. AECOM is pleased to include you in a unique development opportunity, the Graduate Development Program (GDP). This program is designed to support your assimilation into the organization and assist with creating a foundation of knowledge for a successful career at AECOM. Job Summary

Collaborate directly with a Senior Project Designer and/or Senior Project Architect to develop and deliver design concepts on projects of various scale in size and complexity as part of an experienced, talented project team. Immediately earn opportunities for additional project responsibilities as necessary skills are developed and demonstrated.

Specific Opportunities

  • Collaborates directly with a Senior Project Designer, preparing and presenting client-focused design solutions to project team members.

  • Preparing and reviewing models and drawings during all design phases.

  • May coordinate and collaborate activities with employees in other disciplines and departments, internally and externally.

  • In collaboration with a Project Architect, performing technical assignments of moderate complexity consistent with approved schedules and budgets.

  • Supporting the pursuit of exciting new professional and collegiate sports projects.

  • May perform as a subject matter expert on emerging architectural and design technologies and processes.

Minimum Requirements

BA/BS + None or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or other related field

  • professionals who want to be in the room learning sports architecture from the ground up and immediately applying that knowledge to professional and collegiate sports projects.

  • Software skills using Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, Rhinoceros, Grasshopper and Dynamo.
