Job Summary

  • Develops creative solutions to complex problems.

  • Aligns functions with other financial and audit functions to ensure proper controls.

  • Ensures that systems are implemented in a manner that aligns with established guidelines, policies and procedures.

  • May be the main contact for outsourced or third-party vendors.

  • Recommends and initiates employee hire, promotion, discharge or transfer.

  • Manages the preparation of reports and statistics reflecting AP or Imaging Department results.

Minimum Requirements

  • Five years’ billing experience in an accounting/finance setting is desirable

  • Basic understanding of accounting principles

  • Prior experience in Oracle is highly advantageous

  • Intermediate Excel & WORD

  • Ability to communicate initiatives, results, and analysis to project management

  • Ability to manage a number of jobs and prioritise deadlines

  • Strong communication skills oral and written both conveyed with

  • Support Manager with all Billing requirements

  • Manage and support the Billing team at all times

  • Ensure all SLA’s are adhered too at all time

  • Timely process of reports, Timesheets, Sick leave and Annual leave requests

  • Carry out one to one’s with the staff on a regular basis

  • Help and train any new members of team

  • Ability to influence others in a fast paced changing environment?

  • Attentive and active listener

  • Experience of managing external client relationships relevant to the role

  • Ability to use Initiative to find new ways to improve efficiency; results

  • Maintain an excellent standard of quality on all work performed

  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Ability to prioritize and perform work with minimal supervision

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Relevant tertiary qualification is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience can be substituted
