Job Summary
Manages and coordinates surveys and investigations of land surfaces.
Ensures compliance with all applicable regulations and requirements, including boundary calculations and legal issues.
Ensures projects are completed on time and within budget.
Acts as advisor to land surveying team regarding projects, tasks, and operations.
Minimum Requirements
Licensed Land Surveyor in the state of California
6+ years of progressive field and office experience
Ability to manage and perform on multiple surveying and mapping projects
Practical knowledge of Trimble TBC, Trimble Access, and Star
Net, and AutoCAD Civil3D
Ability to work autonomously, strong attention to detail, self-motivated
Experience with all Caltrans processes and products
Experience with Trimble GNSS and Total Station instruments
Preferred Qualifications
Microstation experience
10+ years' preferred
