Professional degree from an accredited Architecture program.
Candidates should have extensive experience in design and production of all phases of an Architecture project delivery including schematic design, design development, construction documents, and construction administration.
Candidates should display outstanding design and graphic skills.
Candidate should display strong communication, planning and collaboration skills, and be comfortable working both independently and in a team environment on a variety of projects and tasks.
A professional license is preferred.
Experience with the International Building Code, Contract Administration is desired.
Candidates should be proficient in a wide variety of production and visualization software including but not limited to: Revit, AutoCAD, Sketch-Up, VRay and other visualization software, Adobe Suite, InDesign and Microsoft Office products.
Bachelor's degree in Architecture
7+ years of relevant experience
Licensed as a registered architect, preferably in VA
Strong technical skills and demonstrates experience in all phases of architecture project delivery
Diverse knowledge of architecture principles and practices
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Be able to work independently, in a team environment and as a project team leader
Proficient in a wide variety of production and visualization software including but not limited to: AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop and PowerPoint
Due to nature of the work, US Citizenship is required
Due to the nature of this work, qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test
Must possess a valid driver’s license
Certification as a LEED Accredited Professional by the USGBC
Proficiency in Building Information Modeling
Experience with SketchUp and Illustrator
