Job Summary

AECOM Tishman is actively seeking an experienced (10 -15+ years) Senior Superintendent for a residential construction project in Washington, DC.

Superintendents are an integral member of any Project Management Team, and will have direct impact on the level of service in delivering a successful project.

As such, Superintendents must remain steadfastly focused on AECOM Tishman’s four strategic drivers, which are:

  • Safety

  • Customer Satisfaction

  • Quality

  • Profitability

These four strategic drivers form the core of all operational functions and are the framework for performance goals that we set for each member of our Project Management Teams on every one of our projects:

Project Performance Goals:

  • Safety – understand OSHA rules & regulations, adhere to the Site-Specific Safety Plan, and remain vigilant in identifying and correcting potential hazards.

  • Customer Satisfaction – develop and maintain good customer/client relationships throughout the project.

  • Quality – take an active role in Tishman’s QC/QA Program; understand the expectations for specific items of work and ensure that specified quality is being provided.

  • Profitability - focus on means/methods to continually improve the efficiency of our operation, shorten the construction duration and, thereby, reduce general conditions costs.

Minimum Requirements

BA/BS + eight years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

Preferred Qualifications

  • experience in vertical construction in the DC area
