Job Summary
AECOM is seeking a Project Engineer to expand our Water Resources practice in the Houston Metro Area.

The successful candidate will have relevant analysis, design, management experience in one or more of the following areas: hydrology and hydraulics (H&H), The primary responsibilities include:
Hydrologic and hydraulic (H&H) modeling using various software program
Analysis and design of stormwater drainage system, bridge and culvert design
Analysis and design of green infrastructure / low impact development, and PS&E development.
Write technical report and technical memorandum
Field work for site reconnaissance
Provide assistance with Project Management
Mentoring and training junior level staff
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Face to face interaction with clients
Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (or related field)
5+ years of experience civil engineering consulting or engineering management company
Professional Engineers licenses in one or several states in the Gulf Coast region
Demonstrated project experience in one or more of the areas listed in the summary
Demonstrated experience and client relationships in the municipal / public sector marketplace
Demonstrated proficiency in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling
Demonstrated proficiency in drainage PS&E development
Reputation as a high performer
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
?Master’s degree
Professional Engineer’s license in Texas
Proficiency with SWMM modeling software
Strong knowledge of hydrologic and hydraulic modeling concept and principles
5+ years expericence with hydrologic and hydraulic models (HEC-HMS and HEC-RAS)
Demonstratated proficiency in ArcGIS and CADD
