Job Summary

The Water Business Unit of AECOM has an immediate need for a creative, highly talented technical

Civil Engineer in Wastewater for employment in the Cleveland, Ohio office. This is an exciting career opportunity in the consulting engineering business to work with the #1 Engineering Design Firm regionally and globally to work with our top water client accounts.

Key responsibilities of this position include:

  • Technical resource for waste water collection system, conveyance and wet weather planning and design studies

  • Team leader for sewer system evaluation studies (SSES) and wet weather problem assessment and system rehabilitation evaluation

  • Provide field data collection planning, data analysis and evaluation to support AECOM’s water resources field services team

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field of study

  • 6+ years’ experience in wastewater engineering, hydraulic and hydrologic modeling and SSES data collection, analysis and reporting

  • Ohio PE or ability to obtain by reciprocity within 3 months

Preferred Qualifications

  • Masters degree in related field of study

  • 10+ years’ experience in wastewater engineering, hydraulic and hydrologic modeling and SSES data collection, analysis and reporting

  • Professional Engineer - Ohio PE

  • Experience with hydrologic and hydraulic modeling using SWMM, PCSWMM, InfoWorks ICM, or MIKE Urban, including GIS integration of data collection, analysis and reporting

  • Experience and desire to engage in active project management, including client management, project scheduling, cost management, procurement, and technical oversight
