AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated technical professional to assist with Project Management functions for project activities based out of our Boston, MA office.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Ensure project completion within budget, schedule and in conformance with specifications

  • Reviewing contracts and sub-contracts

  • Develops design schedules for approval

  • Resolves field initiated questions

  • Coordinates activities among the design groups.

  • Prepares or directs the preparation of project studies, reports, etc

  • Under general supervision, performs routine duties.

  • Displays knowledge and abilities to evaluate, select and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures and criteria to meet basic engineering and construction specifications.

  • Displays applications of sound professional judgment on details of work.

  • Independently performs walk-downs and inspections of installed commodities to assure conformance with specifications and design.

  • Performs quantity surveys for tracking and reporting.

  • May provide technical direction to drafters, technicians, and surveyors.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction or Architecture

  • 4+ years of experience in engineering, architecture, or the field of construction management

  • Experience in developing design reports, drawings, and specifications

  • Skill in oral and written communication

  • Experience in managing subcontractors

  • Experience in design services during construction, including answering RFI’s and reviewing submittals

  • Due to the nature of this work, U.S. citizenship is required

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience with DoD projects

  • Security Clearance preferred

  • Experience with project management
