The Logistics Readiness Manager will be responsible for readiness reporting and data management for the Army Prepositioned Stocks – 2 locations. The Logistics Readiness Manager is responsible for the 24/7 planning and synchronization of the maintenance and supply operations; provides classified asset visibility by unit and type; integrates/manages data and reports; and coordinates with the 405th Army Field Support Brigade to ensure property and equipment is in the proper state of readiness and available for re-issue to units. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily fulfill each of the following essential duties:

  1. Provide visibility of equipment by unit and type.

  2. Manage the reports of the stored equipment set/s to include analyzing data to extrapolate operational readiness data that is classified when consolidated.

  3. Ensure readiness data integrity at all times.

  4. Brief Army Prepositioned Stocks – 2 readiness to Brigade Commander.

  5. Coordinate with higher headquarters to ensure equipment is in the proper state of readiness as determined by the government customer for re-issue to the gaining unit or other entity as required.

  6. Oversee the Army Prepositioned Stocks – 2 readiness team which will include up-to ten personnel.

  7. Use classified (United States – Only) Information Technology systems, including Global Combat Support System – Army, the Army War Reserve Deployment System, and possibly the Logistics Modernization Program to manage all readiness reporting activities.

  8. Generate all required readiness related reports, charts, graphs, and data calls.

  9. Provide all required reporting on time as required.

  10. Ensure timely and accurate responses are prepared for requests for information from external activities.

  11. Maintain a daily time sheet and daily manning report and ensuring times are accurate.

  12. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

Qualification & Experience Requirements: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.

  1. Must have an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

  2. A bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of recent specialized experience, OR, an associate’s degree plus 10 years of recent specialized experience, OR; A major certification plus 10 years of recent specialized experience, OR; 12 years of recent specialized experience.

  3. 7-10 years’ experience in readiness or operations field required.

  4. Considered an expert in the following Global Combat Support System – Army, the Army War Reserve Deployment System, and possibly the Logistics Modernization Program

  5. Driver’s license required.

  6. Must have knowledge of the Army retail supply system, technical supply operations, and established policies.

  7. Must have strong organizational and planning skills.

  8. Must have basic knowledge in the use of MS Office, including Word and Excel, Outlook and other related applications.

  9. Must be able to function with an advanced level of English oral and written language skills.

  10. Must be able to meet and maintain all base access security requirements.

  11. Must be able to meet and maintain all LIS access requirements (Common Access Card).

  12. Must pass a pre-employment government background check and drug screen test.

  13. Must be able to speak, read, and understand English.
