AECOM is actively seeking experienced, creative, highly talented Project Scheduler to work at our client site located in
Canandaigua New York.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Knowledgeable of planning and scheduling concepts and principles including effects on financial performance.
Familiar with data sources and supports basic schedule development.
Supports analysis of schedule, identifies and investigates project schedule variances.
Collects and updates data and updates and produces scheduling reports.
Assists in the development and maintenance of WBS and support activities to implement applicable coding. Supports basic schedule development.
Supports gathering and assembling data for schedule updating.
Supports measurement of project schedule progress and gathers and assembles data for schedule and network updating.
Gathers data for schedule baseline development and maintenance.
Familiar with construction drawings, specifications and construction contracting methods.
Understands CPM scheduling concepts and principles and able to develop basic engineering, procurement and construction logic.
Understands concepts and principles of scope control and change management and earned value methodology.
Supports monthly report preparation.
May participate in planning and scheduling meetings to gain insight to planning and scheduling issues.
Exposure to basic scheduling and cost baseline fundamentals, concepts and principles.
Previous work experience on large military projects with forensic and medical focus on qualifications.
Knowledge and experience working the USACE RMS (Resident Management System Software)
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
6+ Years of relevant experience.
Must pass a State and Federal criminal history/security background check; many projects/clients are security sensitive.
Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
Physically able, with or without an accommodation, to work in indoor, and outdoor environments with uneven terrain and variable outdoor conditions.Position requires frequent standing/walking, keyboard/mouse operations, repetitive fine hand movements, and sitting for long periods of time; often operating vehicles; occasionally working with arms above shoulder level, performing repetitive bending and stooping, climbing stairs, and working in an environment of heavy, moving, dangerous equipment; rarely power gripping/squeezing (hand tools, levers, etc.), performing work at heights, using portable ladders, wearing fall protection, working in confined spaces, and lifting less than 25 pounds.Position will include wearing associated personal protective equipment (i.e., gloves, safety glasses/goggles, face shield).
