Job Summary
The selected Senior Associate, Landscape Architect will work within the Design, Planning + Economics team to complete design assignments from bid stage, through concept design to project completion. This role requires leadership and participation on projects with other parts of the AECOM business. The Senior Associate will independently manage all aspects of multiple complex projects simultaneously, including managing client expectations, maintaining project programs and budgets, leading project teams, and driving design excellence.
The Senior Associate will be an industry thought leader, forming part of the senior design team to lead, develop and produce quality design and business outcomes. The Senior Associate will be a technical leader with ability to deliver projects and mentor a team of creative professionals.
The Senior Associate, Landscape Architect will play an essential role in providing a providing strong technical and business leadership on multi-disciplinary projects. The role demands a strong balance between design, client liaison, project management and business development.
The ideal candidte will have a provent track record of bidding and winning high value complex landscape-led multi-disciplinary projects.
Minimum Requirements
15+ year’s relevant experience, preferably in a multi-disciplinary studio environment.
A proven track record of bidding and winning high value complex landscape-led multi-disciplinary projects.
Strong ability to work within a dynamic studio environment.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and other presentation software
Extensive experience in the management of projects from proposal development to completion.
Strong design skills with ability to work from broad scale master planning to detailed landscape design.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Able to manage sensitive and sometimes confidential information
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor of Landscape Architecture
Professional accreditation license
