The Building + Places Division of AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Senior Project Manager for immediate employment in the New York, NY office. AECOM is proud to provide our employees with exciting, challenging projects. Our Project Managers work directly with the client and stakeholders to ensure project and program objectives are met. The successful candidate will demonstrate an affinity for maintaining and delivering high quality projects on time and within budgets while establishing and maintaining excellent client relations. The Senior Project Manager shall have a strong client relationship base within the New York Metro area, expect to actively participate in business development and/or industry organizations.
Directs and manages the entire project, provides guidance to subordinate managers, enforces company and project policies, and acts as a primary liaison between AECOM and client interface.
Accountable for all facets of the project to ensure they are constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule.
Overall responsibility and management of project including but not limited to budgeting/schedule stage, procurement, through contract closeout.
Position has primary fiscal responsibility and key liaison between client for assigned project.
Participate in proposal and business development Initiatives
Provide mentorship to team members
Bachelor or Masters in Architecture and 10+ years of related project management experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Demonstrate enthusiasm, are highly motivated and detail oriented with a strong background managing complex client projects
Well organized and adept at multi-tasking working with master agreements and multiple task orders
Ability to manage and direct project staff
