Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a creative, a highly talented Inspector for CEI Inspector employment in the Tampa Bay, Florida area. The appropriately qualified applicant will be able to demonstrate an established career as a CEI Inspector for primarily roadways and site construction development. AECOM is proud to provide our employees with exciting, challenging projects. The incumbent can look forward to projects including various assignments for the FDOT and municipalities throughout the Tampa Bay Area.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for performing assignments in assisting Senior Inspector in the performance of their duties

  • Receives general supervision from the Senior Inspector who reviews work while in progress

  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent

  • 2+ years of experience in construction inspection, one (1) year of which shall have been in bridge and/or roadway construction inspection

  • Or demonstrated an equivalent combination of education, skills, knowledge, abilities, and experience

  • US citizenship required

  • CTQP Asphalt Roadway Level I

  • CTQP Earthwork Level I

  • CTQP Concrete Level I

  • CTQP Pile Driving

  • CTQP Drilled Shafts

  • CTQP Final Estimates Level I

  • FDOT Intermediate MOT

  • IMSA Traffic Signal Inspector

  • Nuclear Radiation Safety

  • FDEP Stormwater Inspector Certification
